The Y behind the Walk...

With so many social and economical barriers holding people back, Kelly Frapporti-Tobin wants to shine more light on a lost and overlooked demographic being hit the hardest. In 2023 alone, the YMCA provided 226 men clean, safe and affordable transitional housing in the Hamilton Downtown Family YMCA Residence. Kelly wants to do something big to help raise urgently needed funds and awareness.

Kelly Frapporti-Tobin and 9 community members and YMCA staff walked 72km in TWO days, touching YMCA Centres in Hamilton, Burlington, and Brantford to raise money for the Men's Residence.
